Chemical peels
Chemical peels are more popular than ever as they are a cost effective treatment to keep your skin looking healthy and refreshed.
​
It is a type of chemical exfoliation of the skin that leaves the skin looking bright and feeling rejuvenated.
The peels done in our practice are mild peels and are safe on all skin types.

Procedure:
​

The skin is cleaned to remove make up, excess oils and dirt
​

Vaseline is applied to the corners of the nose, eyes and mouth to prevent acid from leaking into these areas
​
-
The mild acid solution is brushed onto the skin and left in place for 2 - 3 mins
​
-
You will feel some tingling - this is normal and expected
​
-
The skin may become red but this resolves by the end of the day
​
-
The acid is wiped off and neutralised
​
-
The skin is cleansed thouroughly and a serum and sunblock are applied
